City Yard Renovation Project Takes Major Step Forward After Years of Delays
The Hermosa Beach City Council unanimously approved hiring an owner's representative for the long-stalled city yard renovation project
State of the City Address will focus on current and future priorities at special evening event
Hermosa Beach Mayor Rob Saemann will present his State of the City Address next Thursday, January 15th, as his mayoral term approaches its conclusion.
The address will provide an overview of the city's current priorities, recent accomplishments, and future goals for the community.
Mayor Saemann's term is scheduled to conclude next month, with current Mayor Pro-Tem Mike Detoy expected to assume the role of mayor following the council's traditional rotation. The State of the City Address provides an opportunity for residents to hear directly from the outgoing mayor on issues affecting Hermosa Beach, including infrastructure, public safety, economic development, and community initiatives.
The event will be the first of its kind to be held at the Clark Building since its reopening last year after a long-awaited renovation. It will also be the first since the appointment of Steve Napolitano as Hermosa Beach City Manager.
Complimentary food and drinks will be provided, and all are welcome. RSVP's are requested to anny@hermosabeach.gov
