The Hermosa Beach Review was our city's first ever newspaper. The first edition hit the street on March 1st, 1907. Annual subscription ran $1.50, equivalent to $51.70 today. The paper went on to publish every Friday for seven decades. Here's a little glimpse from that first ever copy :
